Late September is a great time to get on the water especially with the cool water and weather coming! Shad will start to move shallow and this is when I would pick up a Baby D Bomber and really concentrate throwing around the edges of grass line and docks! Another really good way of locating bass is idling canal openings and looking for bait fish. The canal openings with bait will produce many active bass. In these areas use a 1/2 OZ Spinnerbait or chatterbait! When you find shad you will find bass!
